Useless on El Capitan?

This app looks like a terrible waste of money. The functionality doesn’t match the screen captures. When you click buttons for Hangouts, it just opens a web browser and launches the Google App there. Existing conversations (from the web-based Hangouts) don’t appear in the interface.

The app loaded my GMail Calendar widget, for some reason, and I can’t get rid of it.

The “Support” site is a placeholder page that says a web site is “comming”.

I feel terribly ripped off and can’t reommend this app to anyone — not even myself.
